This policy explains what BrightBid collects, why we use it, and when it is deleted.
Information we collect
We collect your email address, payment and order identifiers, the request or specification and proposals you upload, and the comparison files we deliver. If you create an optional account, we also store your name, account identifier, legal-consent record, and the orders linked to your verified email. Stripe processes payment-card information; BrightBid does not receive or store full card numbers.
How we use it
We use your information only to take payment, prepare and deliver your comparison, provide support, prevent abuse, meet accounting obligations, and operate the service. We do not sell your information or use uploaded documents to train AI models.
Storage and deletion
Order files are stored in private object storage. Guest-order source documents and delivered files are deleted 30 days after purchase, along with sensitive document metadata. Orders owned by an optional account remain saved so the account holder can view and download them until the holder requests deletion. We retain minimal payment and accounting records as required for fraud prevention, tax, legal, and bookkeeping purposes.
Service providers
We use Stripe for payment, Supabase for private data and file storage, Resend for transactional email, Vercel for hosting, and Cloudflare for domain and network services. Each provider processes only the information necessary for its role.
Optional analytics
If you allow anonymous measurement, Google Analytics receives the BrightBid landing version, a validated campaign source, whether you opened the sample PDF or XLSX, and whether you started checkout. We do not send document names, uploaded content, checkout details, or customer information. Google Analytics does not load before you allow it, and a declined choice remains stored in your browser.
Your choices
Creating an account is optional. A verified account may claim still-available guest orders placed with the same email address. You may request access, correction, account closure, or deletion of information that we are not required to retain. Email hello@brightbid.bid. We may ask you to verify ownership of the order.
Security and contact
No system is risk-free, but BrightBid uses private storage, signed upload and download links, restricted server credentials, and expiring order access. For privacy questions, contact hello@brightbid.bid.
